Mark Dhooge
From youth leagues to advanced high school play, I’ve spent years working with quarterbacks to help them unlock their full potential. My approach is rooted in the fundamentals — footwork, throwing mechanics, decision-making — combined with modern tools like high-speed video analysis to deliver real-time feedback. Every athlete who walks through the door gets the same commitment: focused attention, honest coaching, and a clear plan for improvement.
Experience & Coaching Background
I have nearly 20 years of experience coaching quarterbacks across a wide range of ages and skill levels, from beginners learning the basics to varsity athletes preparing for college opportunities. Having worked with athletes throughout the South Shore and beyond, I’ve developed training methods that blend technical skill development with game-ready situational work. My sessions aren’t just about throwing the ball — they’re about building confidence, understanding the game, and preparing players to excel under pressure.
Over the years, I’ve built a reputation for connecting with players, breaking down complex mechanics into simple, actionable steps, and creating an environment where athletes feel both challenged and supported. Whether it’s fine-tuning a release, improving foot speed, or reading a defense, my goal is to make sure every quarterback leaves each session better than when they arrived.
Quarterback Read is more than just training — it’s about developing leaders on and off the field. I’m proud to help young athletes not only improve their game but also carry themselves with confidence and discipline in everything they do.
